“Adria has played a disproportionate role in her four years as president and more than two decades at Brophy, said Tom Palmer, Chairman of the Board of Brophy. “While it’s hard to envision Brophy without Adria, among her many accomplishments – indeed, her great legacy – is the leadership she cultivated. Upon retirement, the Board of Directors has tremendous confidence in Bob Ryan’s proven ability to move us forward.

Ryan holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame, an MA in Education (MEd) from Arizona State University, and an MA in Catholic School Leadership from the University of San Francisco. He joined the faculty in 2000 and has been director since 2006, responsible for integrating the Jesuit mission of Brophy into all areas of the school and leading the advancement of the program, extracurricular programs and athletic activities. by Brophy. Ryan has led the expansion of student support services, as well as retirement programs, immersion experiences and the creation of an international exchange program.
